Episode 005 The Halloween Special

It's a four handed affair in The Balaban Sound Studio this month as Scott and Charlie are joined by Liam and Paul to discuss Frankenstein, Darkness Falls, The Exorcist, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and An American Werewolf in London.

Some may describe it an alcohol fuelled frenzy of disarray others may see it as broadcasting gold...you decide.

Listen in amazement as Paul gets gradually more inebriated throughout the show and marvel at how The Film Thugs make us all sound like a complete bunch of amateurs.

Due to circumstances beyond our control the Six Degrees of Separation segment is down to the audience to work out the links between the songs this month and you can send in what you think the connections are at:

Starring Gunnar Hansen as the iconic Leatherface.

"En route to visit their grandfather's grave (which has apparently been ritualistically desecrated), five teenagers drive past a slaughterhouse, pick up (and quickly drop) a sinister hitch-hiker, eat some delicious home-cured meat at a roadside gas station, before ending up at the old family home... where they're plunged into a never-ending nightmare as they meet a family of cannibals who more than make up in power tools what they lack in social skills..."

Darkness Falls

On Saturday, Scott, Charlie, Liam and Paul got together at The Balaban Sound Studio to record episode five of the The Stinking Pause podcast.

Paul's choice was the 2003 movie Darkness Falls, a horrific twist on the Tooth Fairy legend.

"A vengeful spirit has taken the form of the Tooth Fairy to exact vengeance on the town that lynched her 150 years earlier. Her only opposition is the only child, now grown up, who has survived her before."
