Episode 009 The January Amnesty 2014

Join Scott and Charlie in the Balaban Sound Studio for our first January Amnesty.

Usually we try not to discuss films that were released in the previous ten years but decided to have a look a three newer movies this month….No Country For Old Men, The Hurt Locker and I Saw The Devil.

Poor old Charlie was not feeling particularly well during this episode but he struggled on heroically…possibly the after effects of watching I Saw The Devil we think?

Six Degrees of Separation for your listening pleasure as always. Cliff Richard makes a brief reappearance as does Jim from Swanscombe.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to our one thousand downloads….we dedicate this episode to you all!

The January Amnesty

Regular listeners to the podcast will probably know that one of our unwritten rules is that we try not to include any movie in the past ten years. Well it's a new year so time for a new rule. In January, Scott and Charlie have called an amnesty and each chosen a more recent movie to discuss.

The birthday movie is five years old this year and is the Oscar winning 'The Hurt Locker'.

Charlie's choice is from 2007. The Coen Brothers' 'No Country For Old Men'.

And Scott has chosen Kim Jee-Woon's 'I Saw The Devil' from 2010.
